"Avengers 2" Spoilers: Thanos and She-Hulk Rumored for "Age of Ultron" Appearance, Avenger Deaths Teased

By

Ever since the first footage from "Avengers: Age of Ultron" premiered last Saturday at Comic-Con, all those looking forward to the Marvel sequel have been trying to figure out just what was going on that that trailer.

Some of the elements seemed rather obvious, like Ultron, the villainous robot voiced by James Spader, and his army of drones (during the convention, it was revealed that Tony Stark will create both Ultron and the drones as an armed peace force, but Ultron's artificial intelligence will corrupt and attempt to take over the world).

However, the big moment that left fans stunned was at the end of the footage, when Tony Stark gazed out upon his fellow Avengers... who were all lying prone on the ground, and appeared to be very much dead. Strewn among them were the pieces of Captain America's shield, which is a huge surprise- made of the unbelievably powerful Vibranium, it would take some serious force to break the shield.

Speculation from Fashion & Style notes that traditionally, in the comics, it's the villain Thanos who's most associated with breaking Captain America's shield, which may point to an appearance in from the landmark comic villain in "Age of Ultron."

However, in an interview with Comic Book Resources, Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige said outright: "He's not a part of "Avengers 2." "He," of course, is referring to Thanos.

There's another rumor currently circulating that has nothing to do with Thanos, or Ultron, or even any villains at all. The latest scoop from moviepilot.com is that She-Hulk may be appearing in "Age of Ultron." The rumors do not state how much of a role the hero might play, or if any actresses had been cast, but it's certainly something to keep an eye out for.

Especially considering that there's been some talk about "Age of Ultron" having four main female roles. And after Maria Hill, Black Widow and Scarlet Witch, that leaves one more female hero to go.
