Jackbox Games recently released a downloadable game for Xbox One in August that is now making its rounds as a fun party game. "Fibbage" is a multiplayer, interactive game created bythe creators of trivia franchise "You Don't Know Jack." According to WP Central, the game was released as part of the ID@Xbox program.
The game is a simple trivia game, as reviewed by Polygon. The site said that the game is light on depth, but fun to play altogether. A minimum of two up to eight players can join. Players will be shown a trivia statement on the screen, but one of the words will be blank. The players would have to guess what the missing word is. Once all the players have selected their word, everyone will vote for whose answer they think is right. The game will then reveal the correct answer, and will give out points to those who got the answer correctly, as well as to those whose fibs were chosen by their fellow players.
Players on the Reddit Xbox One thread estimate that there are about 100 questions on the current version of "Fibbage." This isn't a lot, as it has been said that people can easily finish this in one day. However, the amount of questions is said to be enough to keep a party entertained for an hour or two.
What reviews and players alike find interesting in "Fibbage," which could be downloaded here, is the process iin which the players participate. The game does not require an Xbox controller after it has been loaded on the console. Instead, players will be asked to log into the "Fibbage" website through their mobile devices, where they will enter their unique 4-digit code for their current location to play. All of their answers will be typed in using the phone's interface, which makes playing easy even for non-gamers. Virtually anyone with a smartphone browser can join - and today, that's majority of mobile phone owners. The simple gameplay, the hilarious answers, and the unusual interaction makes this Xbox One game a party game that should not be missed.
The game can be downloaded from the Xbox Store for $6.99.
