Vin Diesel shared on social media last Tuesday, September 23, selected photos taken from the set of "Fast & Furious 7".
On his Facebook page, Diesel mentioned the new and upcoming "Fast & Furious 7" trailer and shared a promotional photo for the sequel that features him and his late co-star, Paul Walker, reports CNN.
"Universal came to visit, to show the trailer for FF7...," Diesel wrote on Facebook. "Speechless... yeah, it was that INCREDIBLE!"
Despite his pleasure, Diesel expressed a contrasting emotion of pain and sadness.
"I must also say, that it was emotional and bittersweet...," Diesel continued. "We all went above and beyond to make Pablo proud, but man, I wish he could see what we have created and just how far we have come."
Diesel considers Walker to be his brother, on and off screen, and affectionately calls him "Pablo", according to a report by The Wrap.
Paul Walker died at the age of 40 in a single-car accident on November 30, 2013 in Valencia, Sta. Clara, California, with his friend Roger Rodas.
On the film's official Instragram page, fast7official, a photo taken from the set in Dubai shows Diesel with Caleb and Cody Walker, Paul Walker's brothers, who filled in for their late siblings as body doubles in several scenes.
Caleb and Cody were announced, in a statement released by Universal Studios, to stand in for their late brother as filming resumed in April 2014, Deadline reported.
"Fast & Furious 7" is an upcoming action film and will be the seventh installment of the "Fast & Furious" film franchise. The film was directed by James Wan ("Insidious", "Insidious: Chapter 2" "The Conjuring") and, besides Diesel and Walker, stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, with Lucas Black, Kurt Russell, Jason Statham and Iggy Azalea.
Originally scheduled to be released on April 10, 2015, the film's release date was moved back up to April 3, 2015.
