We're just about halfway through the month of October, and you know what that means (or maybe you don't, at which case you should probably keep reading)- free video games!
Well, free video games with a catch- they're free, so long as you've signed up for one of the many subscription services offered by most console makers. In this case, it's Sony's PS Plus, which is prepping a new bevy of freebies to hit consoles in the second half of October.
KpopStarz has the current list, which includes the following games: "Dust: An Elysian Tail" "Rainbow Moon" and "Pix the Cat" will be free on Sony's PS Vita system, so long as you've got a Playstation Plus membership.
On the PS4, PS Plus members can also get their hands on a free copy of "Spelunky."
And if you haven't yet upgraded to the PS4 and are still playing on a beaten down PS3, your options are "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara" (sure, maybe we rag on PS3 owners, but you're winning in the end- free "Arkham Asylum").
And as an extra bonus, KpopStarz reports that all PS Plus members are getting another free game this month- "DriveClub."
As far as November's free games, go, we're still in the dark, but The Epoch Times reports that "The Binding of Isaac" will be one of the free PS Plus games next month. They cite a source in the official Sony Playstation Blog that "Binding of Isaac" will be available starting on November 4 for Playstation consoles- making a free November release a perfect bit of timing.
Other potential November freebies include "Octodad: Dadliest Catch" and "Resident Evil: Revelations." Both of which would be terrific options (more people really need to play "Octodad."
Check back soon for the latest news on all these free games flying towards Playstation owners this month.
