Hungry for more footage from "Avengers: Age of Ultron?"
Yeah, you and the rest of the Earth's population. Luckily, Marvel has come down from on high and is blessing us with the gift of trailer- specifically, an all-new trailer that'll be premiering in less than a week's time.
Christian Times reports that the new trailer will air on ESPN, on Monday, January 12 at 8:30 PM. According to their reports, the trailer may focus far more on the new characters joining the Avengers in the upcoming film- specifically Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, two twins with immensely powerful superpowers.
In the first trailer, little was seen of the two- only quick glimpses of Quicksilver demonstrating his super-speed by zipping through a group of Ultron drones, and Scarlet Witch letting loose with a few magic energy blasts from her hands. Nothing about their motivations or what they'll be doing in the film, though. Presumably, the new trailer might let us in on that info.
IGN also has a description of new footage that was recently screened at CES. Here's what they saw:
"The footage did contain a couple of new scenes, including a shot of what appears to be Ultron bots bursting through the walls of the train in the slow-mo Quicksilver sequence. In another new shot during the villa sequence, Iron Man flies at the camera, leaving tumbling Ultron bots in his wake. A third sequence showed the destruction of a Samsung-owned building."
Apparently, the CES footage also showed several concept art pieces of Ultron, in his various forms (one of Ultron's strengths is that he continually upgrades himself, building his body in new and more powerful forms).
Also shown at CES was a new futuristic cell phone that Tony Stark will have in the film- apparently, it'll be entirely transparent, holographic and be activated by fingerprint. Realty Today adds, however, that the products are not meant for the actual general public. Just billionaires and/or superheroes.
Check back soon for the latest on "Avengers: Age of Ultron"- and don't forget to head online Monday night, to see that new trailer!
