Bobbi Kristina Brown's case heats up even more with the recent discovery that it was not Nick Gordon-- Bobbi's pseudo-husband-- that found her unconscious first. Rather, it was good friend Maxwell Lomas who was in the scene.
On January 31, Bobbi Kristina was found lying face down and unresponsive in a bath tub at a townhome in Atlanta. It was earlier reported that she was found first by partner Nick Gordon with Maxwell Lomas who performed CPR on her until an ambulance arrived (Yahoo.com).
Just this week, however, Fox News reported that Lomas' attorney Philip Holloway made a statement saying it was his client who found the 21-year old in her home first. As Holloway stated, "He immediately pulled her from the water and called 911 as well as alerting other people in the house." He also claimed that it was Lomas who gave the aspiring singer resuscitative measures until the medics arrived.
Contrasting reports about the cause behind Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter's incident have been circulating with prescription drugs and cocaine pointed as the likely contributors. However, other sources-- including Bobbi Kristina's family members-- claimed that no signs of drugs were found in the vicinity.
But while Bobbi Kristina may have been clean, it was later revealed that Lomas had been arrested just a few weeks before the event for possession of Xanax, marijuana, and firearms. A closer look at the 24-year-old's history also showed that it wasn't the first time he was arrested for drugs and firearms possession.
As for Gordon, it has been well-known that he and Bobbi Kristina had a strained relationship. Reports suggested that the singer often complained about her "husband". It was revealed on February 3 (via Hollywood Life), however, that Gordon and Brown were never legally married.
