"Captain America 3: Civil War" will be released in theaters this May 6, 2016. Spider Man may side with Iron Man and fans may get to see the debut of the Iron Spider suit in the upcoming film. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo signs up with Sony and they may get to helm the reboot of the Spider Man Film Franchise.
Spider Man makes his way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Sony and Marvel agreed on a recent deal. The webslinger may make his debut appearance in the upcoming "Captain America 3: Civil War" wherein his role is considered to be a lynchpin in the power struggle between Iron Man and Captain America.
Readers of the comic book of the Civil War Arc will know that Spider Man initially joins Iron Man side when Tony Stark and Steve Rogers choose different stands in the Superhuman Registration Act. Marvel Fans would know that Tony Stark designed a special Iron Spider Suit for Spider Man during the Civil War Arc. However, Spider Man will also go back to his traditional Spider Man outfit once he switch to Captain America's side.
In other news, Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors behind the previous Captain America films and the upcoming "Captain America 3: Civil War" have signed a three-year contract with Sony. According to the report, Sony Producer Doug Belgard said that "Joe and Anthony Russo are terrifically exciting filmmakers with a sensibility that matches the tastes of audiences worldwide."
Top Executives Michael DeLuca and Hannah Minghella also said that "Joe and Anthony Russo have demonstrated their ability to bring excitement, audacity and phenomenal commercial success to a variety of genres and endeavors," adding, "and we are proud to add them to the family. Their original voices and fearless execution are a tremendous addition to our studio."
The Russos are also excited to join Sony Pictures even though they already have huge success with Marvel Entertainment. The siblings said that "We're thrilled to make a home at Sony Pictures, and to be partnering with the entire team," and they further explained that, "The studio has created an environment that is not only collaborative, but truly filmmaker-friendly and we're excited to begin developing both new and ambitious material with them."
"Captain America 3: Civil War" will premiere on May 6, 2016. Fans can expect the debut of Iron Spider in the upcoming film as Spider Man makes his way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Stay tuned for more update!
