As the frost melts, gamers were treated this spring to a video game mega-sale by big names in the gaming industry. Also, it just so happened that "Titanfall" had recently celebrated its first anniversary and the game developers were so thrilled about it that they decided to give away DLC maps. Yes, maps and these would be for free!

Who wouldn't be proud of their first baby, especially if it's as massive and legendary as "Titanfall?" Well, Respawn Entertainment got so buck wild about the first anniversary of their "debut game" that they decided to give out maps to their loyal gamers. Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella thanked the game's loyal fans who had contributed in various ways to improve the game like creating "costumes, videos, tournaments and art inspired by the game."

As a sign of gratitude, Zampella gave back to the "Titanfall" gamers, as posted on the game's website. He said that "all 'Titanfall' maps are now available for free on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC." He added that the gamers only needed to download the season pass on Origin or Xbox Live.

Aside from that, other deals were lined up for Xbox One. Gamers just needed to check the best prices on various online shops. Also, the Xbox One "Assassin's Creed" Bundle would still be available and it would come with an "NBA 2K15" game, plus three months of Xbox Live Gold at US$350.

Meanwhile, PlayStation gamers should not worry because this would be Sony's second week to hold their spring sale. In fact, they've already announced the release of "DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition" last time. Several exciting games were also part of last week's sale.

Now, gamers should check out titles like "Wolfenstein: The New Order," "Infamous: Second Son" and "Call of Duty: Ghosts Hardened Edition" to name a few, based on a report from Gamespot. Gamers just needed to check out their favorite online shops to get the best offers to these great games.

As for now, gamers just need to keep their eyes peeled for the next days to come as more games would be hitting great deals this spring. Who knows, hardcore gamers might still be in for more exciting surprises soon.
