As the release date of "Mortal Kombat X" drew near, gamers were treated to another video trailer and this time it would feature the father-daughter duo, the Briggs family. Also, gamers were treated in to some fantastic information on how to test play the latest characters in the game before buying them
A video trailer featuring the Briggs family was uploaded by RajmanGaming HD in YouTube. The latest "Mortal Kombat X" video trailer would feature Jackson and Jacquiline Briggs as well as a few stunning fight scenes were the Briggs family mutilated their opponents.
However, the Briggs would only be a small part of the "Mortal Kombat X" cast of warriors. Jason Voorhees would be officially be joining the cast of warriors on April 26th, under the "MASKDMURDER Pack," based on a report from International Business Times. Meanwhile, the Black Dragon ninja, Tremor, would be included in the list of fighters on May 10th under the "Klassic Pack #1." As for the Predator, he would be unleashed via the "HUNTERPREY" Pack on May 24th. Finally, Tanya would join the group of combat professionals through "Klassic Pack #2" on June 07th.
Meanwhile, NetherRealm Studios Creative Director and Mortal Kombat Co-Creator Ed Boon said that gamers would still be able to test play the latest characters in the upcoming DLC packs through the Living Towers mode. Boon said in an interview with the Angry Joe Show that "every time [a gamer would] turn the game on, there's going to be three towers in the Living Towers section. One changes every hour, one changes every day, and one is called the Premier Tower, which is kind of like an event tower." He added that "for instance, if [DLC character Jason Voorhees] comes along, you're going to have a Jason tower that you play as Jason. And you can even use that tower if you didn't purchase Jason. So it's really cool, it gives the players a taste of what the character [is] and what it's like to play them,
based on a report from PlayStation Lifestyle.
"Mortal Kombat X" would be released on April 14th on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC and mobile editions.
