"Mortal Kombat" fans would be delighted to learn that Jason Voorhees and Predator were confirmed to be part of the upcoming "Mortal Kombat X." Also, gamers should be warned that a new "-atality" would be hitting gamers who easily quit online fight, it would be called "Quitality."
The confirmation on the inclusion of the "Friday the 13th" villain as well as the skin shredding alien in "Mortal Kombat X" came from a listing on the Xbox Store. A portion on the "Mortal Kombat X" "Kombat Pack" DLC read "stalk and slash your opponents as Horror Icon Jason Voorhees, or play as Predator, the Ultimate Hunter." However, the "Mortal Kombat X" "Kombat Pack" DLC would only be available through "Mortal Kombat X" Premium Edition on the Xbox Store. The Premium edition would also include a "themed skin pack including three new skins for select characters." Add to that gamers would be able to get the "Samurai Pack," which would be released on the game's launch date.
Also, screenshots for other playable characters were leaked over the Internet. The leaked screenshots of "Mortal Kombat X" characters came from the likes of Erron Black, a new character who would carry two golden Revolvers, and old time favorites such as Baraka, Shinnok and the fan favorite Jax, who lost his arm in "Mortal Kombat IX" and would be coming "back with a vengeance" with his new robotic arm.
Meanwhile, "Mortal Kombat X" would be punishing gamers who quit easily in online games. "Quitality" would be a new "-atality" where gamers who quit too easily in online games would be seeing their playable characters' heads explode in the middle of the game the moment they call it quits. Add to that, gamers would be seeing the return of "Brutality," the 11-move combo that would be a bit trickier than a "Fatality."
"Mortal Kombat X" would be released on April 14th on PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. The game would also hit Microsoft Windows, as well as mobile platforms Android and iOS.
