'Boruto: Naruto The Movie' will open in select countries all over the world very soon but Mitsuki's parentage has already been exposed. Boruto and other younger generation characters will also be featured in the new videogame 'Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4'.
In an article by Design N Trend, mysterious character Mitsuki's father was revealed in an interesting plot twist. It was reported that his father was Orochimaru. It was previously rumored as so since Mitsuki also shared the pale skin and yellow eyes.
However, the rest of his background and origins remain a complete mystery even to his team mates. Orochimaru, a former legendary ninja in Konohagakure turned antagonist in the series, is a cruel, vengeful and full of open malevolence. He also has a mislaid god complex.
He is portrayed in the 'Naruto' series as one with pale, sickly skin, black hair and yellow eyes - almost snake-like. Mitsuki also has his father's golden eyes and pale skin but his hair is white-blue. Mitsuki is part of Team Konohamaru with Boruto and Sarada and is portrayed to be highly agile. It is unclear whether he would soon share his father's villainous ambition as well as his antagonistic traits.
According to Geek Snack, 'Boruto: Naruto The Movie' was officially released in Japan last week and earned a whopping 680,134,700 yen in just three days. It sold over 500,000 tickets making it the most successful 'Naruto' movie to date. It was predicted to earn even more as soon as it premieres in the United States and other countries in the Western territory as the series is also exceedingly popular overseas.
VC Post also reported that Boruto and Sarada will be featured in the upcoming video game 'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' as a new generation of ninjas joining past beloved characters. This is in attempt of creator Masashi Kishimoto to keep fans interested even after the official end of the manga series on November last year.
Content from the latest big-screen adaptation will also be included in the game as well as from its predecessor 'The Last: Naruto the Movie'. The game developed by CyberConnect2 will be released for PlayStation 4, PC and box One in February of next year.
'Boruto: Naruto the Movie' will hit 80 theaters in the United States starting on October 10, 2015. The upcoming film tells the story of Boruto, Naruto's son with Hinata Hyuga. It is the film series' 11th animated installment to be released in USA territories to date.
