The first part of 'Justice League' is still slated for 2017, but rumors about George Miller directing what is called 'Justice League Dark'. Should that be the case, he will be joining Zack Snyder, who is on the helm of 'Justice League' part 1 and 2, in bringing DC superheroes together. Concept art of the unreleased 'Justice League' game that was supposed to be tie-in with Miller's movie was revealed.
According to Slash Film, Miller is said to be taking over the 'Justice League Dark' movie, which Guillermo del Toro was previously working on. With a working title Dark Universe, the movie is still being actively worked on although still unannounced officially as of writing.
'Justice League Dark' is the team of supernatural DC characters such as Constantine, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, and Deadman. However, the revealed concept art of the unreleased 'Justice League' game is not about the 'Justice League Dark' characters. According to Cinema Blend, the cancelled game was meant to be a tie-in to George Miller's 'Justice League' movie (not JLD) but also fell through.
In an article by Movie Pilot, Zack Snyder's upcoming 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' is explained as a 'Justice League' movie, with all the superheroes and villains set to make an appearance. Including 'Batman v Superman' and followed by 'Justice League' Parts 1 and 2, the DC superheroes team will be seen in films together in 3 consecutive years. How 'Justice League Dark and possibly George Miller will join the universe is unknown, but might possibly come after the 'Justice League' Part 2
Miller was also rumored to be on board 'Man of Steel 2' if not 'Justice League Dark'. Whichever film Miller ends up doing, Snyder has expressed that if Miller had any interest in any of the movies, he will be happy to talk to him, meaning to say, there hasn't been any talks for Miller to join DC Universe. However this might just be Snyder "playing coy" about Millers involvement or negotiations are done behind his back.
While having George Miller work with Zack Snyder in the DC universe, most especially in 'Justice League' films, nothing has been confirmed as of this point. 'Justice League Dark', like 'Man of Steel 2', is still in the planning stage, while 'Justice League' Part 1 is working on the script and Part 2 is in treatment or outline development.
