Samsung's Galaxy Note 5 has been one of the most competitive smartphones in the industry. Now that the company has released Galaxy S6 Edge+, it is now questioned whether the latter's specification would stand against the latest device's features.

Last month, TechRadar made a review on Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and it cited the pros and cons of the device. For the positive side, the Note 5 has a slick glass-backed design, armed with a record-breaking specifications. Another is it sports a stunning camera having good quality, not to mention its handy S Pen stylus.

On the other hand, its negative side includes the expensive price. The Note 5 doesn't support a microSD card slot for memory expansion and it has a non-removable battery. Lastly, its availability was limited to few countries only.

Recently, the site also made a review on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+. The review shows that this device has a great 5.7-inch screen and a superb camera. Meanwhile, its negative side consists poor battery life, minimum usage of edge screens; and lastly, the screen of S6 Edge+ can be easily hit accidentally.

Beta News also gave a keen comparison between the displays of these handsets. According to their review, both devices feature a 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display. But the difference is that Edge+ offers curved edges on the right and left. These curve edges reportedly improves the movie watching and photo viewing experience on the smartphone.

Meanwhile, Note 5 offers a traditional non-curved display, which solves all of the complaints about the Edge+. This handset offers traditional case-designs catering solid protection. Both of these handsets share mostly the same specs, offering awesome displays, class-leading cameras, fast wireless charging, fingerprint readers and amazing performance.

Though there are a lot of similarities between the two products, the S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 still oviously differ when it comes to their prices. The former costs $696 while the latter costs $779 -both on full retail price.
