The recent information on "Mortal Kombat X" circulating around the Internet further proved that Johnny Cage would be joining the cast of elite fighters in the arena. Apart from that, Mileena would be a new menacing character that could tip the scale on the battle between good and evil.

In the description page of "Mortal Kombat X" on Amazon, Johnny Cage was mentioned as part of the cast of elite fighters. Add to that, gamers could also check the screens and videos included at the left side of the page. Apart from that, gamers were told that if they pre-ordered, they would be able to play as Goro in the upcoming title.

The latest game in the "Mortal Kombat" franchise would also feature a new character, Mileena, which would be joining the forces of darkness. Mileena would assemble a rebel army aimed at dethroning Kotal Kahn at the Outworld.

It was NetherRealm president Ed Boon who revealed the screens for Mileena on his Twitter feed. Gamers hoped that Mileena would be part of the playable characters apart from being a main villain on the storyline.

Meanwhile, the story would be set 25 years after the events of the 2011 game. Also, it introduces a dark tale, as mentioned earlier, and perhaps the only hope for humanity would be Cassie Cage, the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, and her band of new fighters.

In an earlier report, NetherRealms gave the details on the first few playable fighters in the game. Also, there had been reports that a companion app was on its way, in order for gamers to bring their characters with them anywhere they go, upgrade them whenever they like.

"Mortal Kombat X" would be released on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on April 14th.
