Yu Yutopia will reportedly launch this month with Cyanogen OS and Snapdragon 810 processor on board. Yu CEO dubbed the phone as the "most powerful smartphone on the planet."

Indian-based Yu Televentures could release its fifth smartphone, Yu Yutopia, this month of October. There are rumors saying that Yu Yutopia will carry the Snapdragon 810 SoC as per a report by Digit. Yu Yutopia will directly rival OnePlus 2 since they have similar specs and features.

The new Yu phone will reportedly have a 2K (1080p) display, 32GB ROM, and 4GB of RAM. It will also have a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front snapper.

According to International Business Times, Yu Yutopia will run on Cyanogen OS 12.1. The custom ROM maker has confirmed this to dispel speculations that they will no longer partner with Yu Televentures. Cyanogen said also added that Yureka and Yureka Plus will receive the latest 12.1 OS update soon.

Yu Yutopia will be categorized as a premium handset based on rumored specs and features. NDTV Gadgets reported that Yu CEO Rahul Sharma said that Yu Yutopia will be the "most powerful smartphone on the planet."

"The Most Powerful Phone on this planet will be from YU for YOU and from India, making the YU clan the most POWERFUL in the World!" Sharma said. "Final work in progress, I am really excited and can't wait to share it with you all. Stay tuned."

A smartphone with premium specs, assumed to be Yu Yutopia, was seen previously on Geekbench and was nicknamed Yu5050. The leak showed that the device carried a Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB RAM, a 5.2" HD display, and customized Android Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS.

Although no price has been named yet for Yu Yutopia, the phone is expected to sell at around the same price as the OnePlus 2. Sharma added, "After the minion monster #YUNIQUE can't wait to present the #Real Beast. Let the countdown begin."
