The manga is officially over, but fans of the very popular Shonen manga 'Naruto' just cannot get enough of their favorite hero. In fact, Naruto fans from all over the world renewed their excitement over the franchise after it was announced last week by Weekly Shonen Jump that the spinoff movie 'Boruto: Naruto the Movie' would be released on August 7, 2015, with a new movie art that showcased Naruto as the Hokage and his son Boruto. Additionally, Crunchyroll recently reported that the lead cast for the upcoming film has also been released: fan-favorite Yuko Sanpei (who voices Cure Dream in 'Yes! Precure 5') and Kokoro Kikuchi (who voices Potpourri in 'Heartcatch Precure!') will be voicing Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha, respectively.
The report also spoke of an interview made by DaVinci, a print media magazine, with Junko Takeuchi (Naruto) and Noriaki Sugiyama (Sasuke), and their thoughts on both of their characters being paired together for one last time.
The official sypnosis for the upcoming anime movie has not yet been released, but reports from various sources are saying that the movie will be focusing on Boruto and Sarada's relationship, as well as Naruto being the Hokage and a returning threat to the Hidden Leaf Village in the form of Orochimaru, which indicate that fans can expect a lot of action to happen in film. Additionally, speculations on the movie's storyline tease that Boruto and Sarada may develop romantic feelings for each other.
After a spectacular performance at the Japanese box office of 'The Last: Naruto the Movie,' both the producers and fans of the 'Boruto: Naruto the Movie' expect the spinoff film to match, or even surpass the success of its predecessor.
